From Hallock Geneology: Son of Zebulon 1st and Martha-Hallock. Born 1727 in Southold, Long Island and died 1814. Married first Abigail Homan in 3 July 1752, she died 1763. Married second Elizabeth in 1765. Children, all of second wife: Patience (b. 1766, baptized 5 April 1767), Zebulon 3rd (b. 1767), Henry (b. 1770), Elizabeth (b. 1772, baptized 6 May 1772), Martha (b. 1775, baptized 1 May 1776 per Mattituck church record), Thomas W (b. 1781), Joseph (b. 1784). Zebulon 2nd and family settled in Minisink (now Greenville, Orange County, NY). Business of farming. Zebulon 2nd was born in Southold Village, Long Island. Moved to Guildford, Connecticut with 4 in family in Sept. 1776 due to British invasion. 13 April 1780 he petitioned the General Assembly of Connecticut for permission to return to Southold to provide for his family and aging father. He signed the association in 1775. He left Southold soon after the death of his father, for Orange County.
